Halloween

Hi everyone!
Jon and I are going to have hot dogs instead of candy on Halloween night, so if you'd like to have one, we will be starting to grill on the driveway at 5:30pm.  We'll cook until they are gone!

Lost Kitty:(

So we have lost our cat. She is strictly an indoor cat, has been declawed and has never been outside. Zander left our door open and she got out a couple hours ago. She is very small and is orange with some white. Has tags on her with my number. I really hope she is OK,if you think you have seen her PLEASE call me. 801-809-9467. thanks!

HUGE Yard Sale!!

hello all!
I am having a HUGE yard sale so I don't end up on an episode of Hoarders:) but also to promote my furniture and decor business "Then & Again". It will be this weekend  May 17th and 18th from 9am-3pm. Hopefully having it the weekend of Black and white days will bring lots of people, spread the word and stop by to look around! thanks!

Hi Neighbors,
I am SPRING CLEANING (I have never cared for the term nesting, come to find out) and have a few things that I would love to share with anyone who wants or needs them!

 A very cool for preschool (or whatever you want!) dry erase/chalkboard easel.

A Graco single stroller; you sometimes need the magic touch to fold it up, but is otherwise in great condition!

ALSO, I have several 30 lb buckets of wheat in my garage that I would love to give away. They are old; like 1990 old, BUT wheat is supposed to be one of those 30+ things and you could use it soon! I just made some bread with some of it the other day and it was great. SO....please come take this stuff off my hands if you could use any of it!

Hey Neighbors.... especially you guys that have kids starting first grade next year...you probably saw the flyer come home about the Dual Language Immersion Programs for First Graders starting this FALL, and I wanted to send a shout out saying that we are doing it! And we are hoping hoping hoping that maybe some other families in our neighborhood (or just in Richmond) might also be considering it, because getting to and from school will definitely present a challenge. We registered for the Mandarin Chinese program at North Park (North Logan) and also the Portuguese program at Sunrise (Smithfield). North Park is our first choice, and we got a call from the coordinator today saying we could be in either one and in fact they need more kids in the program to make it successful. If you haven't checked it out...it's a great opportunity. Kimball went to both of the parent meetings at the schools a few weeks ago and it is going to be awesome...just a little bit farther away. The last day to register is this THURSDAY the 28th so if you think you might be interested, jump on it! And please let me know if you have any questions (I may or may not be able to answer them!) or if you decide to do it!

Free Day Old Breads and Goodies

I tried posting this a week or so ago, but I don't see it on here, so I'll try again!

Every Thursday from 3:30-4:30 there are free day old breads and goodies at the Black and White Days Building in Richmond.  A local woman goes around and gathers things from stores that they donate.  There is a huge amount of stuff, and all that isn't taken goes to feed animals.  Please bring a bag and come get whatever!  It certainly helps on a tight budget!  Tell your neighbors and friends!
