I wanted to remind you (or tell you for the first time) about our Relief Society service day THIS SATURDAY, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. We have several service projects lined up for both the humanitarian center and a local women's shelter, and can use all the help we can get. The projects include:
Making blocks as Christmas gifts for children
Making puppets as Christmas gifts for children
Making baby bibs
Tying twin size quilts
Making baby blankets for a women's shelter
Young Women and Achievement Day age girls (with their moms) are also encouraged to attend.
We will be serving lunch!
Come anytime between 10 and 1 to enjoy lunch, socializing and much-needed service.
There will be a nursery provided.
Also, if you have a pair of sharp scissors, bring them to help with the projects.
